Small is a grain of sand like the ones we find on all beaches. He has many friends like crabs, shells and snails. And when he gets tired from the beach, he holds on tight to a bather's foot and sets off to see the world.
Third story from the Learn to Read collection in UPPER CASE and lowercase letters, which is arranged according to reading difficulty with number 1 being the easiest and number 9 being the most challenging.Each page contains the same text: above in lowercase letters and below in CAPITAL LETTERS (upper case). It enables capital letters and the change towards printed characters to be worked on. At the end of the book, you can discover a message to think about it. The collection is designed to learn to read and is arranged according to reading difficulty.
Author Biography
Núria Cussó (Barcelona, 1983). She is an engineer and high school teacher with a great imagination. She has always liked to write children's stories. Her passion for reading and writing has led her to publish three titles from the "Learn to Read" collection by Editorial el Pirata. Anna Clariana (Terrassa). She studied graphic design and illustration. She's been working as an illustrator since 1980 in both textbooks and picture books. She has received several awards for her works: Young Painting Award (Terrassa, 1980), Festa Major Poster Award (Terrassa, 1981 and 1996), Children's and Youth Book Hall Poster Award (OEPLI, 1998), Lazarillo Award (OEPLI, 2000), Parcir Award (Manresa, 2007)
