For me, coaches are people who have had enough personal or professional success in their lives in one or more fields and who feel qualified enough to help other people achieve it. We can find coaches with specific studies or without them. But I think they must have two qualities: they must know about the processes of generating change and they must have sufficient personal or work experience. I want to make it clear that this is not a formal vision of the profession, but my particular vision.
Coaches must have a series of tools or resources that they can use to help other people achieve their goals. It is surprising how many people can benefit from the work of a coach. Any process of change can be enhanced, accelerated and improved with the supervision of a coach.
