by John Milbury-Steen (Author)
Bram Stoker, unable to walk for the first seven years of his life, and, by his own account, often close to death during that period, later became a star athlete. This work examines the motif of incapacity and sudden Berserker arousal, often framed in a window. This study is based on Stoker's prose before and including "Dracula." It demonstrates the major motifs of "Dracula" were already present in Stoker's early work.
