Steel is essential in the construction industry, and the uses of structural steel are numerous, from housing to engineering structures, equipment and industry. With its multiple surface expressions, adapted anti-corrosion protection techniques and undisputed mechanical performance, steel remains one of the architects' fetish materials, as it is a universal construction material, present in buildings in many forms, residential and industrial buildings and also in engineering structures. In this book we will present the use of steel structure in the fields of civil engineering structures and residential and industrial buildings. Moreover, to show the importance and the direct and significant contribution of the construction technique of different steel structure works, with the aim of having safe, robust, durable and always more efficient structures with regard to the stakes of sustainable development, and this in full compliance with the international norms and standards in force in the field of health, environment and safety.
