Author Biography

Susanna Dussling was born on Long Island, New York. She and her parents and a younger brother moved to Houston, Texas when she was 10 years old. Having completed high school and college with honors, she works in management in the retail industry. Her favorite past time is spent with her performance Arabian horses.

Susanna was born with a profound hearing loss. Hearing aids enabled Susanna to to grow up in a hearing world. However, in adulthood, she suffered a devastating setback: Sudden Deafness. She then became a successful bilateral Cochlear Implant Wearer.
