Autism Spectrum Disorder is a confusing topic for children (and most adults). Young kids don't always understand why others behave or act differently. People with ASD all have different manifestations and symptoms, and the terminology and expectations are always evolving. But it's important that kids learn that it's ok that others are different and that it's equally important to support them however that comes.
This story also applies to any person who has intense feelings and is a Super Feeler (on the Spectrum or not). Some people just have Super Feelings and this story will help children learn to connect!
