Author Biography
Tanya is a motivational speaker and former foster child who was in foster care from five years old to twenty-one years old. Surviving abandonment, group homes, sibling seperation and sexual abuse, Tanya discovered if you protect your sanity, you can survive anything! After years of therapy and graduating from NYU, she wanted to share her experience so that no teen would hurt themselves and be able to recognize their potential, before they age out! This book is from her personal experiences. She currently travels the country speaking to kids in orphanges, group and foster homes-teaching them how to rise above adversity-even in foster care! She resides in New York and has two daughters. she is available for speaking, consulting and workshops she created just for kids in foster care.
