Belva Rae Staples lives and works on Swan's Island, a scenic place off the coast of Maine. She is the author of a fantasy series: The Kriterion Saga and of two blogs: Island Sea Chimes and Mainely Mug Ups. The first book in her fantasy series: The World Between is a Finalist in the 2013 Next Generation Indie Book Awards
