No matter how long a person has struggled with illness, he faces a myriad of emotions when all treatment options have been exhausted. There are many books offering encouragement and advice on how to live. This one offers a perspective on how to die. The author wrote these prayers while undergoing her sixth and seventh regimens of chemotherapy for recurrent ovarian cancer. The writing resonates with her grief, anger, acceptance, and the comfort she found as God carried her through this phase of life.
Author Biography
Judy Sliger is a wife, mother, and retired teacher. In 2012 she completed her first novel as a participant in NaNoWriMo. She is currently working on the second draft of a children's Christmas story and a coming of age novel. She lives in Kentucky with her husband, her son (when he's not at college) and their golden retriever.
