This book was inspired by my own experience as a therapist. In recent years, there have been many advances in the field of psychology and as such, there have been more opportunities for therapists to positively impact the lives of others. In my work, I have been fortunate enough to help people from all walks of life to move beyond the struggles that hold them back and find meaning and purpose in their lives. I wanted to share the stories and experiences from the therapists at Yes To Therapy with others so that even those who did not have any direct contact with therapy could benefit from these stories.
Furthermore, I also wanted to help others understand what a journey for a therapist can entail, so that they can become better informed and make the best decisions for their own lives in the event that they are interested in becoming a therapist. This book is a culmination of that effort and my hope is that it will be able to bring some hope, clarity, and understanding to its readers.
