If you've ever felt awkward or out of step with the rest of the world, take heart, you are not alone. I was born with an awkwardness I never conquered nor was able to manage. If I didn't put my foot in my mouth it was because I was using both feet to stand amidst the chaos while I wondered what had just happened. Then one day I made horrible gaffe. I relived the moment for hours until one time it struck me as funny. And I laughed. That was my epiphany. I decided to laugh at my foibles and to share that laughter with others.
