Author Biography
Tangerine Bell has loved poetry since hearing her first poem at the age of four. Ninety years later, she's publishing her first poetry collection. Tangerine and her late husband, Jim - college sweethearts who married in the heat of WW II - kept their love fresh through 62 years of marriage, four children, and more than 25 homes across the US and Canada, as they followed their dreams. Tangerine was born in Hillsboro, Ohio, and has lived in Wilmington, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, Ohio -- as well as: Alexandria, Virginia Saint Augustine, Florida New Orleans, Louisiana Lexington, Kentucky Joppa, Maryland Bel Air, Maryland Andover, Massachusetts Toronto, Canada Redondo Beach, Hawthorne, and Manhattan Beach, California Ormond Beach, Florida Wilmington and Newark, Delaware and is currently living in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. When their youngest child was a teenager, Tangerine earned a Master's Degree from St. John's College Santa Fe (western campus of the Great Books school). When Jim and Tangerine retired to Florida, Tangerine helped found - and served as President of - Tomoka Poets, in Volusia County (near Daytona Beach).
