Tell Your Story is a personal memoir that highlights the struggles and experiences of a Black woman growing up in the projects of rural Pennsylvania. The book reflects on childhood abuse the author endured. Her struggles through the pain and heartache. This story is a testament to pure will power, faith and determination to overcome and heal. What stands out is that even though we may experience trauma while we are alive, the human spirit is resilient. These stories and memories are intertwined with relationships, love, spirituality, and family. The author is determined to help others with similar stories and focuses on her fight to overcome it all. Through trusting therapy and allowing love in her life. She created a village of her own friends and family to assist in helping her overcome. She learned to love herself through it all and never stopped believing in the Power of Jesus Christ.
