What would you do if you found out you were living with strangers? At the age of 15, Deakin decided to find his parents. After researching online, he packed up and left home. He found a group of outsiders who called themselves the Bandits. They taught him hidden and little known ways to search through the open and closed information online. Two years later, he met a college student in California named Eden. They joined forces in a cross country search for Deakin's real family. From California to Texas and up the Pacific coast to Oregon, Deakin and Eden follow the clues left from Deakin's past. Soon they find they are closely followed by a group of armed men who are trying to capture Deakin and prevent him from finding the answers to his past. Along the way, Deakin and Eden find past friends of his parents and new friends to help them in Deakin's search.
