Author Biography

Amanda L. Smith, LCSW, is the founder of Hope for BPD where she provides treatment consultation and case management for clients around the world. She also publishes My Dialectical Life, a daily email dedicated to DBT skills for those with Borderline Personality Disorder. She is the author of The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Wellness Planner: 365 Days of Healthy Living for Your Body, Mind, and Spirit, for people recovering from BPD. Amanda received her LCSW at Baylor University and is a therapist in Waco, Texas.
