"The Crow Who Wanted a Big Friend!" is the third book in Kalila Wa Demna's story series for children. Kalila Wa Demna was written in Persian during the Sassanid period. It is an instructive book with various tales (which are mostly told by animals). The book's name is taken from two jackals, Kalila and Demna, who are the tale-tellers. A large fraction of the book is devoted to the story of these two jackals. The origin of the stories is India and they occur in 100-500 B.C. The content of this book is quite instructive, and the stories are not just beautiful but also exciting and educative; therefore, you can read them to your children.
