My name, is Jason Darius Blackpelt. I was an average guy. I had a loving wife, a beautiful daughter, and a good job. My life was mundane and normal, till I met a monster.

I was attacked by a wendigo, a creature of folklore. I was nearly killed in an attempt to save my family, till I became a monster. I turned in to a creature known as a wicker beast.

A truly nightmarish beast that stands eight feet tall, white fur, ram's horns, huge claws and a ravenous hunger.

I was captured by a monster hunting organization called the Round Table Association. A shadow group that is dedicated to hunting down the monsters of folklore.

When they found me they took me to a lab, and told me if I could learn to control my beast, I could join there team and help save innocent lives.

I trained with them and soon went on missions taking on things like chupacabras, shadow walkers, splinter cats, and werewolves.

Over time I gained the trust of some of the soldiers and learned more about my history as a beast. Regained the trust of my family and even made some friends.

But the stronger and more capable I got, the more Arthur, the leader of the Round Table Association, became afraid.

A rift opened between us and got wider everyday. Each mission got me closer to realizing who I really am, but farther from the man who took me in.

Will things go too far between us? What could the man be planning for me?

If I run for it, leave the RTA behind, my family will be in danger. But if I stay, will Arthur continue to play nice, or will he find a way to eliminate me before I become too much of a threat.

But then again, maybe I already am a threat. Maybe I am the monster.
