by Chris a. McColl (Author), Susie L. McColl (Author)

To the world, the husband and wife team, Chris & Susie McColl, are always making others laugh and are living life out loud on social media. As transparent as they are, there has been a hidden dark side to their story that needs to be told. The Day I Woke Up Dead shares both perspectives of how the McColl's fought a life-and-death battle against addiction and alcoholism. Take the journey with them and see how anybody is prey to this awful disease. Despite the heavy topic, you will find yourself laughing with them, crying with them and, most importantly, learning how they fight back to become the people we know and are inspired by today.

Author Biography

Chris and Susie McColl are popular social media figures who live life out loud to the fullest. Genuine and transparent, they preach a message of gratitude, positivity and faith. They love to make others laugh all while inspiring them to pursue their dreams. Their mission in life, after going through a life and death battle with addiction, is to help others live a happier, healthier life of FREEDOM. After meeting in a class called "Social Problems" at the University of Oklahoma, they have been happily married (most of the time!) for 26 years and have four kids, Tanner, Carson, Maddox & Macy, who are the loves of their lives. They love the outdoors, fitness and health, and especially their three German Shorthaired Pointers, Wilson, Shyla and Daisy. They are fortunate enough to work together from home growing their social marketing business.
