Author Biography

Born and raised on the west-side of Detroit, Michigan Dionne was no stranger to violence, drug activity, poverty and the justice system. As a product of the absentee father he struggled to find his niche and manhood in the midst of one of the most dangerous cities in America dealing with gangs and being temporarily homeless. With perseverance and determination he graduated from high school and attended college. On a journey to discover his true identity and masculinity Dionne re-united with his biological father and found his calling in the church and pursued his gift in creative writing. Dionne works as a youth advocate and mentor in a group home facility encouraging teens to triumph over the struggles of puberty and gang violence. He has also began his resume as righteous angered author writing material that inspires the black community to overcomer social injustice.
