Author Biography
Bruce Derman, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in private practice as a psychotherapist for over 40 years in Woodland Hills and Santa Monica, California. He specializes in high conflict couples, sexual and eating disorders, and divorce mediation and coaching. He has written two other books entitled "We'd Have a Great Relationship, If It Weren't For You" and "We Could've Had a Great Date, If It Weren't For You". Dr. Derman works with many people in his private practice who are struggling with the issue of emptiness in their everyday lives as a result of exposure to different losses. He helps them to move through this dilemma so that they can learn to accept their emptiness as a natural part of their life's journey.
