The House Surrounded By Sugar Cane is a farm house located in Louisiana. The farm consisted of eight acres of land, but the house occupied about an acre of that. Adjacent to the land were the Plantation's sugar cane fields surrounding all of it. Those sugar cane fields were large and extended for miles. During the summer the sugar canes grew high above the house making it impossible to be seen. If it had not been for the tall trees on the farm, no one would have known that the house existed.
