The Illusion of Love is based on the manipulation a victim deals with when caught in the web of Domestic Violence. It's a compass for victims that are looking for answers to why they can't leave, knowing "logically" that they should. The book is an anchor for victims walking through DV, when family can't understand why you choose to stay, and friends that have abandoned you because they are tired of telling you to leave. Most importantly, it's for the victim who needs to know there is hope, especially when they feel their life is spinning out of control.
Author Biography
Melina Nicole Jacobs is a single mom, a survivor of Domestic Violence, and CEO/Founder of DV-Perceptions. She helps women of affluence better understand DV, and is in the process of developing a Domestic Violence program for victims in the workplace. She is the VOICE for Domestic Violence.
