There has to be intimacy before intercession. Jesus calls us to develop an intimate relationship with Him and the Father by becoming frequent visitors before the throne. We must then ask ourselves the question, "Are you known at the throne?" The lesson in this book is very clear; we are not magicians before the throne, magically calling things into existence or naming it and claiming it by using the mighty name of Jesus. The spiritual war we should wage starts with believing God; this produces a spiritual connection when you engage the enemy through intercession. I call this coming into agreement with heaven and at this point Jesus Himself reaffirms with His Word.
