The book asks, How do you write poems in a country like this?, inviting every reader to take stock of themselves, and to reassess the ways One human world / [empties] completely / into the bigger one.
Author Biography
Kelly Schirmann is from Northern California. She is the author of The New World and Popular Music (Black Ocean) and the co-author, with Tyler Brewington, of Boyfriend Mountain and Nature Machine (Poor Claudia). She lives & works in Western Montana.
