Living the life of a culinary artist best describes Kelly McBride Loft. From exciting culinary training to elaborate event planning, Kelly showcases her skills as a professional pastry chef. Including advanced studies at the Cordon Bleu Cookery School, London, pastry certification from LaVarenne Culinary School in Burgundy, France and The Art of French Pastry studies at the Ritz Escoffier Culinary School in Paris, her European style of entertaining launched her career as a food writer, a catering director and a private club events director. She has designed events for President George H. W. Bush, ambassadors and international dignitaries. Kelly has taught classes in tea entertaining, international tea exploration, tea etiquette, silver tea service, dining etiquette, event planning and wedding planning for over 17 years. She has authored over 26 books creating the Plan Like A Chef(TM) book series focusing on event planning, etiquette and celebration development. Kelly produces a weekly culinary blog with recipes and entertaining advice titled "Celebration Logic" which can be found on www.eventplanningbooks.net. Her event expertise is dynamically matched by her husband, Michael Loft. Born in Great Britain, Michael was formerly the Marketing and Sales Director for Air France airlines, southwest region.
