Author Biography

Timothy D. Rieman is one of the foremost makers of reproduction Shaker furniture. Jean M. Burks is the Curator of Decorative Arts at the Shelburne Museum, in Vermont, which has the pre-eminent public collection of Shaker furniture. They are the authors of a larger, more comprehensive book on the subject, The Encyclopedia of Shaker Furniture, from Schiffer Publishing.
