This volume of Scandinavian folk songs, hymns, operatic arias, and interpretive notes is dedicated to the memory of a little boy who only spent two and one half years on this earth, and loved to hear his father sing to him with many sweet and charming songs, and who gave such joy to all who knew and loved him. Many of the songs were sung n the Bethany Lutheran Church Danske Klub in Webster Groves, Missouri: the Swedish Council of St. Louis annual Lucia Fest, the inchoate choir of the Norwegian Society of St. Louis Norwegian Bok Klub, the annual Tivoli Fest in Elkhorn, Iowa, and other Scandinavian events throughout the United States. The songs are full of love and kindness, patriotism and love of our Scandinavian homelands, and, most of all, reverence and awe of our Eternal Creator. Jeg er en Skandinav
Author Biography
Dr. Eric Hinrichs has years of information and telecommunications systems engineering, installation, operation, design, testing, training, logistics, accreditation, acquisition, integration, COMSEC/INFOSEC engineering and quality assurance, network simulation, implementation and project management in Department of Defense command, control, computers, and intelligence systems (C4I) experience. He has also been a NATO and college instructor in electronic warfare systems, information systems, programming languages, computer network design and maintenance, languages. He is a Defense Acquisition University Certified Systems Engineer in Acquisition, Level III and fluent in five European languages.
