Author Biography

Shawn Headley holds an associate's degree in Business Technology. Her passion for business earned her a citation from city councilmember Joel Rivera for her work within the community. She earned a Certificate of Achievement in Nonprofit Leadership from Fordham University. She served with the NYC Police Department for 10 years as a School Safety Agent. Following her desire to be an agent for change within her community, Ms. Headley decided to take a leap of faith and left her law enforcement position and became a full-time entrepreneur. She opened her in-home day care, Happy Hearts Day care where she is the Director/Provider. She is also the owner of A Stairway To Hope, a non-profit organization & Each One Teach One Mentoring service where she assist leaders who have visions of helping their community. She coaches community & religious leaders to start thriving non-profit organizations that impact their community. She is now accredited to start nonprofit organizations in 6 states.
