"When parents win at raising their children, the entire society wins" -Joey Dlamini
Teenagehood...We have all been there, where you are not a little girl or boy anymore and not a
woman or man...just yet.
Ask anyone about those formative years, and they are likely to sum it up in one word: awkward.
Peer pressure, dating, and bodily changes brought on by this adolescent stage are enough to
bewilder both parent and teen.
Fortunately for you holding this book, help can be found in these very pages.

The Teen Top 25 is a compilation of solutions to challenges that young people often come across but
may be ill-equipped to cope with.
Joey frankly and graciously tackles topics such as identity, imperfect parents, sexual intercourse,
failure, finances, and other foundational lessons that are key to the development of teens in this 21 st
century.

At the end of each chapter, the reader is given an opportunity to reflect on what they have read by
answering compelling questions that serve as a much needed introspection.
Parent or teen, you no longer have to survive the teenage years, you can now thrive as you journey
into adulthood.About the Author: Joey Dlamini is a qualified Social worker who holds a BBA degree majoring in Human Resource
Management and Marketing.
As a parenting expert, Joey believes in the power of having honest, and real conversations with
parents and children alike.

Joey's life's' mission is to use her God-given talents and gifts to create a community where both girls
and boys are equally invested in and supported.
She lives out this mission through BeAccentuated Foundation; an NPO she started, which helps
young girls and boys discover and nurture their potential.
Alongside this, she is a Mamandla Fellow, a movement in support of mothers in their parenting
journey.

When Joey is not serving and speaking on various issues affecting women and children, she enjoys
her role as mom of 3 and wife of one "Mumuzela" her loving husband.
