Author Biography
Christopher Burchfield is also the author of "Choose Your Weapon: The Duel in California, 1847-1861," the only book on the subject ever published, 268 pp. He has had roughly 120 articles published in various magazines and newspapers, largely of historical nature. When not writing or researching he likes to hike. He and his wife have taken 10 photographic safaris to Africa since 2002.
