Author Biography
Catherine Alford wrote her first children's book when she was a child. It was called "The Talking Road," and it was about a girl who got lost, but luckily, found a talking road that helped her find her way home. Nearly 20 years later, Catherine makes her living as a writer and is CEO of a boutique media company that provides written and video content to websites across the Internet. She gave birth to twins in March 2014 and loves to read to her children. So, she decided to write something just for them to inspire a love of travel, an interest in other cultures, and a message to be accepting of others, even if they look or sound different than they do.
