Who am I to tell you how to navigate offenses in the church? Well, I'm not the pastor whose office telephone never stops ringing for counseling. I'm the church member, the one in the pew or the conventional cushioned seat, the one willing to assist with kingdom projects when called. I'm the person who has been offended by church folk and, after thirty years, is still pleased to serve. I'm the one who has hurt others intentionally and unintentionally. I'm someone who has frequently missed the mark, made attitude adjustments and practiced forgiveness. I'm that person, and I declare to you: You can recover from church hurt.
