Author Biography
Dr. Steve Stiles is a faculty member at William Jessup University in Scotts Valley, California, where he teaches addiction studies, and is an adjunct faculty member at the Western Seminary San Jose campus. He has lectured internationally on substance abuse issues and has served as a resource for local governments, the Romanian government, as well as California Tribal programs. He is clinical advisor at New Life Community Services in Santa Cruz, California where emergency shelter and drug and alcohol treatment are provided in residential and outpatient services. He is a graduate of the American Baptist Seminary of the West (D.Min.) and maintains counselor certification through the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (CADCII). Dr. Stiles has lectured throughout Asia and Europe on addiction topics.
