Finally, a book for kids based on the teachings of A Course in Miracles. Activities are included that enable parents/caregivers opportunities to teach lessons from the Course and similar spiritual paths in ways that kids can understand. Grace, a twelve year-old Grace wants nothing to do with helping out at the city's soup kitchen. "They're not like us, Mom," she protests to Faith's request for volunteering her time. But the lovingly patient mother simply asks her daughter to "see with her heart." Not surprisingly, Grace's transformation, or miracle, takes place through lessons taught by the most unsuspecting teachers at the shelter.
Author Biography
Barbara Franco Adams is a retired educator with over 32 years of experience. As both a teacher and administrator, Barb was well respected by students, parents and colleagues. At the height of her teaching career, she was selected as Teacher of the Year by her state professional organization. Since 2011, Barb has been actively studying A Course in Miracles with her spiritual mentor. Blending her career in education with her dedication to the teaching of the Course, Barb is developing a series for children and their parents/caregivers. The Adventures of the Course Kids! Through Faith and Grace is the first in line.
