What is the greatest secret in all of the devotions to Mary?
The secret which God revealed to St. Louis de Montfort.
St. Louis wrote...
"Predestinate soul, here is a secret the Most High has taught me, which I have not been able to find in any book, old or new. I confide it to you, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit" ("The Secret of Mary", #1).
Now, when it comes to showing you how to use this secret in your daily life, "To Jesus through Mary" is in a league of its own.
That's why the Montfort Fathers called Fr. Texier "a remarkable spiritual writer".
Jesus wants you to live this devotion to Our Lady, because He wants you to be like Him.
St. Louis said this devotion...
"...is a path trodden by Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, our sole Head. One of His members in passing by the same road cannot deceive himself. It is a short road, which leads us to Jesus in a little time" ("True Devotion to Mary", #168).
And as you know, Jesus said...
"The disciple is not above his Master: but every one shall be perfect, if he be as his Master" (Lk. 6:40).
Now, as surprising as it may sound, Jesus also needs you to take this path, because of the souls He wants to save through you.
Your reading about this devotion to Mary proves you're not like most people.
Here's why...
God says...
"The perverse are hard to be corrected, and the number of fools is infinite" (Eccles. 1:15).
That means God can't count on most people to use good judgment in their own best interest, especially when it comes to working out their salvation.
Jesus confirmed this when He warned...
"How narrow is the gate and constricted is the way that leads to life. And few there are who find it!" (Mt. 7:13-14)
The fact that you're reading about a book which shows you easy ways to live a devotion to Mary revealed by God proves you are NOT among that infinite number of fools.
So, you're way ahead of most people.
That's why you're well-qualified to help Jesus save souls, and why He needs you.
As you know, He said, "The Son of Man has come to save that which was lost" (Mt. 18:11).
And even though He tells you...
"For without Me you can do nothing" (Jn. 15:5)...
He has willed not to save souls without your help.
That's why Pope Pius XII wrote...
"Because Christ the Head holds such an eminent position, one must not think that He does not require the help of the Body. Yet this, also, must be held, marvelous though it may seem: Christ has need of His members. Moreover, as our Savior does not rule the Church directly in a visible manner, He wills to be helped by the members of His Body in carrying out the work of redemption.
"That is not because He is indigent and weak, but rather because He has so willed it for the greater glory of His spotless Spouse" (Mystici Corporis, #44).
Our Lady insisted at Fatima that the situation will only get worse if you don't help Jesus save souls...
"Pray, pray much, and sacrifice for sinners, for many souls go to hell because there is no one to sacrifice and pray for them."
The fact is, in God's plan, you have a tremendously important role to play in the salvation of souls.
Because Our Lady says souls urgently need help, and because Jesus can't count on most people to help Him save them from what He calls the "furnace of fire" (Mt. 13:42), I have to ask...
Can Jesus and Mary count on you to learn how to live this devotion to Our Lady, so they can save souls with your help?
You must help Our Lady now, because, as she said at Fatima, time runs out for many souls every day.
Because the Montfort Fathers called Fr. Texier "a remarkable spiritual writer", why don't you give this book a try?
