When I discovered the truth on that fateful day in February of 2018, I was devastated. There was a lot of uncertainty, sadness, and confusion. I really didn't know what to do or where to begin. But my heavenly Father put His loving arms around me, picked up my pieces, and began to unfold my story right before my very eyes. He affirmed within me that I am neither a secret nor a mistake. I am a whole person, made in God's image. God surrounded me with an exorbitant number of siblings who have put their love for me into action. It has been an unbelievable journey of discovery. My prayer for all the men and women around the world who have received a DNA surprise is that they would receive the peace and love of God as they travel their own journey to a new normal.
