When we think of slavery in the USA we tend to look to the south. This book deals with slavery as it at one time existed in one small region of the Northeastern United States.
Author Biography
Dave Thornton is currently living an active retirement life in the sunny south as a jazz musician. But before that he spent his employment years as a teacher and journalist in Northeastern NY State. For 15 of those years, he spent every spare minute with his head buried in the microfilm of the Washington County Post, published in Cambridge, NY from 1849 until its demise in 1986. The result of this fascination is an extensive list of publications, some of which are available on Amazon.
