Keegan Tate is an assistant district attorney in San Francisco who stays busy putting bad people in prison. Then one day, in the midst of a traffic jam on the Bay Bridge, she receives a call from a dead woman. The voice on the phone insists that she find the Three. In that moment, her world is turned upside-down. She is jolted out of old certainties and assurances and begins free-falling into strange, often frightening realities.
