As a result, there is no disputing that Raymond walked uphill one way to school every day. Raymond L. Dykens, retired public school teacher and administrator, lives with his wife, Glenna. Their retirement is dedicated to chasing their grandchildren. He shares his lessons learned from his elementary school days in a one-room country school. He currently lives in Lamoni, Iowa.
