In 1798 a down on his luck Revenue-Marine, Lieutenant was called to active duty with the newly formed United States Navy. Given the Navy's newest weapon, he was told to eliminate the French privateering that had swept over 300 American merchantmen from the Caribbean and elsewhere. The battles, intrigue and secret missions that followed was known as the Quasi-War.
