Fear of Cancer Recurrence (FCR) ranks as one of the most common unmet concerns of cancer survivors. FCR can actually create a psychological response called "intrusive thinking". This occurs when negative thoughts or thoughts of negative outcomes become so pervasive that they stop a person from truly living. No plans for the future are made, relationships are neglected, and a general "why bother" attitude develops. This publication seeks to help the survivor address these fears, overcome them and find ways to increase and enhance everyday joy.
