When Everly Dupree agrees to be Maid of Honor for friend and attorney Patrea Heard, she has no idea that before she can slip into her dress for the ceremony, she'll be called on to don her sleuthing hat.
Arriving for a tasting party, Everly and Patrea discover the caterer is dead and realize they barely escaped being served a plateful of poisoned death. Another catering client would not be so lucky.
Now, two people are dead, and the local Sheriff agrees with Everly. This was no accident, but his hands are tied until the ME rules a homicide, and since that's probably not going to happen, he asks Everly to help with the investigation.
The caterer might be gone, but she has not departed, and now it's up to Everly to avenge another ghost before Patrea says, "I do."
