Ideally, biographies should be inspiratrional, but that objective is presumptuous for an autobiography. Maybe entertaining is a more realistic one. Or that an aboriginal Australian can inhale and exhale simultaneously when playing the didgeridoo? Or that ocean shipping revolutionized railroad equipment in America by eliminating boxcars.
