Alison Turner lives in Los Angeles under the Hollywood Sign with her husband, writer Lou Mathews. Her poems have appeared in The Hudson Review, Black Clock, Poetry East, Nimrod, and many other literary journals. What To Do In An Emergency is her first published collection. She earns her living as an appellate lawyer.
