Davis comes home from school confused. His friend claims that the Earth was made over billions of years, but his Sunday School teacher told him that it only took God seven days. This story is an adventure that explores some of the interplay between our scientific understanding of the universe's beginnings and the Biblical account of creation.
Author Biography
As a mother of 3, Rhonda had looked for books to read to her kids about the Earth's origins that considered Biblical creation as well as scientific discovery. There were none to be found. Not a scientist by training, she was inspired to create a picture book after taking a course on the Earth's origins with the Reasons to Believe Institute. This was the first time that she had heard a theory that valued both science and the Biblical account. So, she worked with a friend as an illustrator to create this book for younger children to consider the Creation Theory Model - valuing both scientific discovery and Biblical understanding. Rhonda now works as a non-profit director and shares an "emptying nest" with her husband in Pittsburgh.
