As someone who learned to read before she could walk, she's always imagined herself writing a book. When He Leaves You is her debut poetry collection, an honest reflection of her life. Michaela now lives in a one-bedroom apartment in Waterloo, Ontario with her books, too many throw pillows, and empty bottles of red wine.
