Author Biography
I decided to try my hand at taking pen to paper and writing children's books in 2004, after the passing of my father. I have since written 8 children's books, (various story lines - all in rhyme). I will continue working on illustrating the remaining stories and have them published as well. The reason I decided to start writing was because my father was a graphic artist and master calligrapher. He did many pieces of calligraphy for notables such as Ronald Reagan, Sofia Loren, Donald Rumsfeld & Margaret Thatcher (just to name a few). Although I do calligraphy, it is not my passion. I wanted to keep his legacy of beautiful writing alive, that is why I started to write children's books. I've always had a passion for writing since I was a young child. I especially loved writing in rhyme. I am a homemaker-mom, in addition to having my own small business called cake pops & candywrappers.
