"Where Is Mommy" is the story of a young girl named Jailyn. After asking for her mother on several different occassions Jailyn finds out a disturbing truth. Her new reality will change her life and it is a reality that many children will unfortunately have to face. This story is told from Jailyn's perspective and will help some of those children who are dealing with the same issue, realize that they are not the only ones who have lost a parent. In the "Note to Parents" section, author Shawntay Alfreda gives some Biblical advice to parent's and caregivers on how to introduce a child to God. She also provides scriptures that will comfort both the parent (or caregiver) and the child during their time of grief.
