Wicca 101: A Course in Witchcraft is, as the title describes, an actual hands-on course with lectures, quizzes, charts, meditations, and historical background information about the practice of Wicca (Witchcraft). Many of the author's methods are outside the norm, and have been formulated through a lifetime in the "craft". The spells, suggested practice studies, divination exercises, and suggested reading are pointedly chosen and planned. There is humor here, as the author relates her personal experiences and sometimes, blunders. One will learn: cleansing of the sacred space, calling of elementals, circle casting, spellworking, chakra cleansing, divination methods, building of psychic power, creating magickal tools, setting up the altar, choosing a pantheon, and choosing one's deities. By the time the reader has worked through the nine classes, all of their basic needs and questions should be answered. At the end of the book, are a number of useful charts and a certificate of completion that can be copied and framed. Lady Star has been a proponent of the craft since 1971.
