It didn't take long for Robert to be a ranch and rodeo cowboy, then joined US Army Combat soldier in Vietnam with D Troop, 2nd\/17th Cavalry, 101st Airborne Division. Upon discharge from Army Robert became a rodeo cowboy, then got his degrees, coaching college basketball, then acting became Robert's life, 16 movies and his biggest role was in \u003ci\u003eRough Riders\u003c\/i\u003e.
